Shipping Dangerous Goods by Air

This course is designed supplement the TDG ground training. It will teach the requirements of how to ship dangerous goods by air as required by the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulation and the ICAO Technical Instructions including: shipping descriptions, documentation, safety marks, etc.

The current version of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations is referred to throughout the course. All participants should have access to a copy while taking the course.

Shipping Dangerous Goods by Ground

This course is designed to teach the requirements of how to ship dangerous goods by ground as required by the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulation including: shipping descriptions, documentation, safety marks, etc.

The current version of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations is referred to throughout the course. All participants should have access to a copy while taking the course.

Shipping Dangerous Goods by Sea

This course is designed to supplement the TDG ground training. It will teach the requirements of how to ship dangerous goods by sea as required by the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulation and the IMDG Code including: shipping descriptions, documentation, safety marks, etc.

The current version of the IMDG Code is referred to throughout the course. All participants should have access to a copy while taking the course.

Shipping Hazardous Materials by Air

This course is designed supplement the 49 CFR ground training. It will teach the requirements of how to ship dangerous goods by air as required by 49 CFR and the ICAO Technical Instructions including: shipping descriptions, documentation, safety marks, etc.

The current version of 49 CFR is referred to throughout the course. All participants should have access to a copy while taking the course.

Shipping Hazardous Materials by Sea

This course is designed to supplement the 49 CFR ground training. It will teach the requirements of how to ship dangerous goods by sea as required by 49 CFR and the IMDG Code including: shipping descriptions, documentation, safety marks, etc.

The current version of the IMDG Code is referred to throughout the course. All participants should have access to a copy while taking the course.

Shipping Hazardous Materials to Canada

This course is designed to supplement 49 CFR Ground training by teaching the additional requirements of how to ship dangerous goods to Canada as required by the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulation including: reciprocity, ERAPs, 24-hour number, etc.

The current version of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulation is referred to throughout the course. All participants should have access to a copy while taking the course.

Shipping Dangerous Goods to the United States

This course is designed to supplement TDG Ground training by teaching the additional requirements of how to ship dangerous goods to the United States as required by 49 CFR including: reciprocity, PIH, reportable quantities, etc.

The current version of 49 CFR is referred to throughout the course. All participants should have access to a copy while taking the course.

WHMIS Coordinator

This course is designed for those responsible for setting up or managing their company's WHMIS program. It addresses detailed requirements about the system including: how to classify material; how to prepare supplier and workplace labels; applying information found on material safety data sheets; setting up and monitoring employee training; etc.

Each participant requires their own copy of the Hazardous Products Act and the Controlled Products Regulation.

WHMIS General Awareness

This course is designed for all employees in Canada to meet the general awareness training requirements for the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System including: classification awareness, material safety data sheets, supplier and workplace labels, etc.

Each participant receives a WHMIS guidebook.
